No need to check my temperature, I'm simply making a statement that few people are willing to realize and admit: With the current price war that's occuring between Chipzilla and upstart AMD... you -really- don't have to overclock your AMD processor anymore. Durons are free, T-birds aren't far behind. What's more the price DIFFERENCES between say a 1 GHz T-bird and a 1.2 GHz T-bird are so minute there's almost no sense in buying the slower version and overclocking it.

Pentium 4 trhá rekordy
Tak se nám opět po nějaké době dostal do redakce procesor Pentium 4, jehož frekvence stále narůstá (téměř každým dnem :-). Tentokráte jsme jako jedni z prvních měli možnost se přesvědčit o rychlosti sestavy (nač by nám byl samotný procesor?) s Pentiem 4 na necelých 2 GHz!?!

Teprve před nedávnem se ceny DDR pamětí přiblížily cenám, za něž jsou dostupné SDRAM PC133 paměti a už se na start chystají jejich mladší a silnější sourozenci - DDR333. Průmyslový standard byl ustaven asociací JEDEC (Joint Electron Device Engineering Council-standardizační sdružení pro integrované obvody EIA-Electronic Industries Alliance. Sdružuje spoustu výrobců a vývojářů, jeden čas tam patřil i Rambus).
