SUPER S2DGU - Supermicro The SUPER S2DGU running at a bus speed of 100 MHz, supports dual Pentium III/II Xeon 400 - 700 MHz processors. The S2DGU is based on Intel's 440GX AGPset, which enables AGP, 100 MHz SDRAM, concurrent PCI, Ultra DMA with 33 a MB/s burst data transfer rate, onboard Ultra II SCSI with a transfer rate of up to 80 MB/s, Adaptec SCSI RAIDPortIII support and Wake-on-LAN. The SUPER S2DGU comes with 5 PCI and 2 ISA slots and an AGP connector. AGP reduces contention between the CPU and I/O devices by broadening the bandwidth of graphics to memory. It delivers a maximum 532 MB/s 2X-transfer mode, which is quadruple the PCI speed. AGP offers a quantum-leap improvement in 3D graphics performance with far richer texture content! Wake-on-LAN allows for remote network management and configuration of the PC, even in off-hours when the PC is turned off. This reduces the complexity of managing the network. Included I/O: 2 EIDE ports, a floppy port, an ECP/EPP parallel port, PS/2 mouse and PS/2 keyboard, 2 serial ports, an infrared port and 2 USB ports. The SUPER S2DGU provides an onboard Adaptec 7890 Ultra II SCSI controller for a data transfer rate of up to 80 MB/s. The incorporated multi-channel Ultra SCSI chip lowers the total cost of ownership in a high-end, high-performance server environment. In addition, support of Adaptec's ARO 1130-CA2 RAIDPort III increases I/O performance and fault tolerance for extended functionality.
